Rapid Response Nurse
Working as a Rapid Response Nurse, you will be responsible for working directly with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an efficient and safe package of care is provided as commissioned.
To provide care in accordance with the care plans, which are person centric. Care will be delivered according to best practice guidelines, in accordance with policies and procedures and agreed standards.
You will be responsible for providing high quality care for clients who require ventilation as well as other complex health needs such as PEG/PEJ feeding, Tracheostomy, PICC lines and Catheterisation.
You will work within the community setting and be confident in working with several different clients, enjoying the diversity and variance that comes with the role. You will be work a fixed rota of 4 on, 4 off and be expected to work with clients across the South East – accommodation will be provided close to the client’s home if required and mileage costs will be covered.

Contracted 30-42 hours per week

Shift Working – 4 on 4 off, with both days and nights
25 days plus option to work Bank Holidays as overtime

Induction and Clinical Training & Development
Qualifications, Education & Training:
Registered Nurse with valid NMC PIN number (or in registration process with valid IELTS/OET)
Educated to degree level or evidence of continual professional development
Experience of looking after clients who require ventilation as well as other complex health needs such as PEG/PEJ feeding, Tracheostomy, Ventilation, PICC lines and catheterisation.
Skills & Competencies:
Experience of assessing and coaching others
